A few months ago we had the absolute pleasure of working with floral designer and coordinator Premier Proposals - Silver Vase LLC. The reception was held at the Lakeway Resort & Spa and it sat that evening for 200 guests. The colors were Ivory and Pink and the venue looked stunning and radiant with those two colors once finished by the touches of the amazing floral designed by Premier Proposals.

It was a true honor working with this special family as the mom went the extra mile to help her daughter with the planning while she was out of state in school. She did a wonderful job and Premier Proposals assisted with the details.

Client Appreciation Party @ Four Seasons Hotel

Last Tuesday Dec, 1, 2009 we participated as vendors for the Annual Client Appreciation Party @Four Seasons Hotel , 98 San Jacinto Blvd. Austin Texas

There theme was winter wonderland and there colors were Silver and White. It was absolutely magical.
All tables were covered by us with Silver Lamour Table Linens and Silver Lamour Chair Covers. There was white lounge furniture and white snow everywhere.
It was a great experience and one of the best so far. Unfortunately due to the rush of things I didn't get any pics : ( but I am in the works of trying to find maybe a pic or two from our friends at Four Seasons Hotel.

Last week we had a photoshoot here at our shop and we decided to play with popular indian wedding colors.

The popular colors seen for 2009 were:

Burgundy and Gold

Royal and Gold

Orange, Fushia and Gold

Apple Green and Gold

Turquoise and Red

This was one of the table settings we came up with assuming that the saree (bride's gown) would be royal with gold detail. I'm excited about making this table setting one come true!

This past weekend was a weekend full of Chocolate Galore!

We had the pleasure of working with a bride at Doubletree Hotel

6505 IH 35 North , Austin Texas 78752. The linens were all chocolate pintuck tafetta , chocolate chair covers, and apple green sashes in satin. Centerpieces were round tall circular vases filled with apples. Very simple but very nice! Good Job, Alyssa and Congratulations!

Today I had the opportunity to work on a photo shoot for the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The photoshoot went great and we will soon post the final outcome pics!

This simple but yet extremely formal feel was created at the Omni Austin Downtown a few weeks ago. The bride utilized the basic table cloth provided by the Hotel and we came in and provided Lamour Satin Self Tie Chair Cover and White Satin Sash to every chair to complete the final look. This look can be topped off with an arrangement- fresh white callas or a high piece in dramatic black magic roses for an over the top wedding!

Beautiflly Well Orchestrated Wedding

I'm very pleased to share that over this weekend we not only had a very busssyyyyyweekend with 8 big weddings but we were part of a very beautiful wedding coordinated by Lizebelle Weddings & Events. Aimee is a sweetheart and not only that but she helped (Brittany) design a very modern, couture magical wedding at the Marriott SouthPark this past weekend. Needing Linens & Chair Covers at a Hotel????

Are you having your wedding at a Hotel? Are you wondering if you will need to rent tablecloths , napkins, chair covers , etc.??

100% of the time the Hotel will provide the basic white polyester table cloth, white polyester napkin and maybe a white polyester chair cover such as the Omni Austin Downtown and Hilton Downtown do. Most of the hotels also carry black table cloths , black napkins and possibly a 3rd color option such as a gold table cloth and napkin such as the Double Tree Hotel.

The Four Seasons Downtown has very elegant and nice tablecloths for their clients . Gold, Ivory and White Damask Full Length table linens for guest tables as well as matching napkins.

The last time we were at the Renaissance , the hotel provided the bride with a white crushed iredescent table linen full length for all guest tables. This fabric for table cloths is also very nice and elegant and even better if included with your price for the wedding there at the hotel.

Austin Country Club also has a good variety of in-house table cloths. The last time that we were there they had black, ivory and gold crushed table linens for the guest tables also in full length and matching polyester napkins.

Crowne Plaza Hotel has the basic polyester white , black and burgundy table cloths and napkins. Burgundy-brrrrrrr.... but you know it works well with weddings with color themes of burgundy and white.

The good side to hotels that provide you with these items is that you don't have to worry about outsourcing because it's already taken care of. For venues like this for the brides that want to add a splash color for the least amount of $ - a runner or overlay does the trick and you can rent for as little as a $1-$10 per piece. For the hotels where the chairs are off completely with the colors you are doing. A white chair cover never fails! Fitted or Self Tie chair cover for the more of a gathered look. $200 for 100 chairs $400 for 200 chairs.- Worth every penny. It makes a big difference.

Be sure to check with us as we are running specials all the time with Hotels and just year around.

Prom Texas School Of The Blind

This is our 2nd year assisting Gene with the prom for the Texas School of The Blind. We will be posting a pic soon! We donate our services for their prom and we will continue to do so for years to come. "It's gratifying."- Yara Castelan

This year they're theme was Mardi Gra and we provided White Matte Self Tie Chair Covers and Sheer Organza Sash in Gold, Apple Green and Plum. The school had beads and cool decorations that completed the room and I feel they did an amazing job with the decorations.

I want to thank Nycia (Inspired Events By Nycia) for taking time out of her busy weekend as she had a sunday wedding but she still managed to still come and lend a hand. Thank You Nycia.-

The Art of Chair Design (for weddings and events)

A few weeks ago we did a photoshoot for an upcoming spanish magazine called Imagine. This magazine caterers to both weddings and quinceaneras in the local Austin Area. We did a photoshoot for a (2) page special cover they did on Color Trends for 2009 and we were excited to be chosen to assist them with this special project.
The photographer who took all the shots for the magazine was Yanire Yanez Photography (Lily) and was great to work with. We got great shots and we were given a copy of those great pics to use on our website and blog.

Austin Wedding Mall - Bridal Show Feb. 14, 2009

I wanted to share these images of our friend and colleague Inspired Events By Nycia.

We love our Wedding Coordinators and we were very excited to assist Nycia with this set-up.


The Theme:
Chocolate - Espresso , Tiffany and Pinks


In the first image at left you will see a mock table ideal to the bride that likes these colors.
A full length Tiffany satin table linen , chocolate satin runner and tiffany satin sashes for the white chivari chairs. All glassware was coordinated with silver triming and the flowers is where she brought in the pinks.

In the 2nd image , she dressed up your boring cocktail with a chocolate full length satin table linen and wrapped a tiffany satin sash to add a modern flair to the table. Great for dance areas!

In the 3rd image, Nycia used a Tiffany satin sash to add texture and personalized feel to the centerpiece.

This year Inspired Events By Nycia offers a Candy Buffet Service and the fourth and fifth pics are samples of her beautiful work!

Austin Wedding Mall *Bridal Show Feb. 14,2009

Feb. 14, 2009 we participated in the Austin Wedding Mall - Bridal Show held at the Hilton Convention Center.

Every year we have to pick the theme colors for our booth and this year we decided to do Yellow, Silver & White. Our beautiful floral arrangements were created by the absolute wonderful and very talented friend Brenda Abbott ! Of course we pulled in our yellows with the flowers and kept it simple with the linens.

Small Details Go A Long Way

This picture shows how simple it is to bring in color to your table setting without over doing. This is your typical "Hotel" setup. Regularly your ballroom will come with white table cloths and white napkins Adding a chair sash as a runner will add a small touch of color over the plain table cloth and complete the table set-up. It's simple and best of all that detail only cost you $1 per table!!!! It doesn't get better than that.



For the bride that likes the table set-up we provided the following;
White Satin Self Tie Chair Cover, Black Satin Sash and Black Satin Sash (as runner) for guest table(s). This will run approx. $31 per table.

Chocolate & Latte-Cappucino Romance

On Valentine's Day Sylvia and her fiance tied the knot and outsourced us to design their reception at Crowne Plaza Hotel. Sylvia loved the Latte Chair Covers and requested a full length matching table linen to compliment the chair covers. She had a chocolate sheer with satin trim overlay as well as chocolate satin napkins. She personalized the table(s) with centerpieces her and her daughter's made and they added a special touch to the wedding cake table by adding a candy buffet next to it for the "candy lovers".
I enjoy working with both the staff and Melissa, Catering Sales Manager at Crowne so if you are a bride that has booked a wedding there and are in your planning fazes right now- you are in good hands. There flexible and very helpful.

Damask Fever!

Everyone is in love with the Damask! I Yara admit LOVING this Black & White Damask pattern sooo much it's incorporated in our office , website and anywhere I get a chance to put it on. I found this beautiful set-up and thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to show brides that if you aren't able to get a damask table linen to match your theme, it's ok ... it's not the end of the world! You can still bring the pattern out in the details like the favors , programs, seating cards etc. and it looks just as nice! or nicer!! To pull this look off you must go with a Black Satin full length table linen and matching napkins as well.

Red & Orange Reception Decor

I wanted to share one of my "fav" wedding set-ups of 2008. This beautiful set-up was at the famous Kindred Oaks and was a wedding coordinated by Bella Brown Weddings . Maribel Brown recommended her bride Dolly our way and with these two colors in mind "Red & Orange" this is what she chose. Once the lay out was complete it was "amazing". By far the perfect outdoor wedding for '08 in my book. Great job Maribel of Bella Brown Weddings and Dolly (the bride)!

Modern Indian Wedding Reception

Saturday March 14, 2009 we had the pleasure of being a part of Lakshmi's Wedding. Her main reception took place at Renaissance Hotel. We provided her with white satin self tie chair covers with several color sheer ties to compliment both her centerpiece and glam theme. She had high eifel towers with white feathers. Her reception seated 330 guests.

Why is the White Satin Self Tie Chair Cover so popular?

The white satin self tie chair cover has a particular wrap in the back that creates the "gathered look" giving the chair a dressed up look. It's elegant and doesn't require a sash. I will admit it does take a minute or two when installing but the finished look is worth every second. We carry this style chair cover in several colors such as: white, ivory, off-white, dark ivory, chocolate-espresso, black, gold and silver.

Fushia and Red Chair Covers ?

Presently we carry Gold Self Tie Chair Covers to cater to an event as small as 50 up to 400 guests. However we are in the works to introduce the Red Self Tie and the Hot Pink/Fushia Self Tie Chair Cover for the untraditional bride or social events as well as galas.

Barton Creek Resort - Plum and Apple Green

In Feb. we had the pleasure of assisting Bridget with Clink Events with one of her brides out at Barton Creek Resort. We provided our new matte self tie chair covers to match the country club's polyester table cloth and plum damask overlay. We installed a plum damask tie with a pull overstyle for the sash. They finished off the tables with beautiful low pieces that had beautiful greens, purples and white orchids.

In Jan.2009 we had the opportunity to join the annual Wedding Extravaganza at the Convention Center and it was very bussssyyyyy but also lots of fun.

Our booth consisted of three booths with the in colors! After plenty of contemplating and thinking we decided to do

1) Black , Fushia and White (incorporating the all famous black and white swirl glam couture linens)

2)Tiffany , Chocolate and touch of classic light pink

3)Plum , Crisp White and a touch of Apple Green (Fresh Apples as the centerpiece) (fun and easy!)

They were all a hit and we were able to attract a variety of brides rather than just a few.
